WOW!!!! I can't believe that my sweet baby girl is already 6 months old today!!!! She's half way to 1 years old!!!! This morning I sang Happy Birthday to her!!! She just had a big smile on her face!!! Well this week has been a long week since she's been sick. There was two nights in a row where I slept in her rocking chair with her. If you put her down in her bed she would start caughing really bad and wake herself up. So I put her boppy around my waist and she slept right close to me!!! We've been staying inside for most part of the week. We did have to go out and get some more diapers and wipes!!! Haha!!! Today we just went on a walk outside becasue she loves to get outside!!! She is feeling better though which is great because we leave for Atlanta on Tuesday!!! We're so excited to see our sweet family!!! Just a few days left!!! On top of Hannah being sick this week our dryer decides to break! I had mountains of laundry to do because I'm trying to stay caught up for our trip! So one night Erik went to Home Depot and got us a new dryer! It's a Christmas present from my parents!!!! Thank you BB and Papa!!!! We really need one!!! It works GREAT!!!! Thank you Uncle Jim for coming over and helping daddy put it together!!! I'm just glad nothing came out of the wall!!! Haha!!!

On Tuesdays Hannah and I go to storytime and there was more kids there than usually due to the rain. Afterwards we always do a few errands just to get out of the house. On Wednesday Hannah got her first cold. :( :( :( :( I've been watching her like a hawk these past couple of days. She's had a cough and a runny nose but thankfully no fever. I had to stay up with her last night because she just wouldn't sleep laying down. I rocked her all night with her boppy around my waist. Thankfully my mom got me a neck pillow for my birthday! Thanks mom!! I always call the nursers at her dr office to ask them questions! They told me to do the Little Noses in her nose and do the nose bolb every time before she eats. Today I called and made her a dr's apt. She is so funny! She didn't even cry when the dr looked in her ears, or listen to her lungs, or put the stick in her mouth. She did gag thought but I mean who doesn't. Yuck. The dr just told me to keep up the good work and continue what I'm doing. So we're going to keep it on a low key before we leave out of town next week. She does seem to be doing better!!! She's such a little trooper!!!

Today I called and made Miss Hannah Grace a weight check appointment! The other morning when I was getting her out of her crib she felt heavier! I asked Erik to hold her and feel her and he even said that she felt heavier too! So this moring we went to the dr to see what her weight was. Hannah Grace is doing GREAT!!!! She now weighs 13.14.2lbs!! She's on the 25-50% weight chart!!!!! Any ways I'm making myself a few notes here. So sorry if it's to long! Here's what the nurse told us to do today:

*Gradually take her off of her rice cereal in her bottles.

*Start veggies!! We start with the blandes one first which is the peas. We try the peas for 5-7 days and then we go to the next green veggie. We alternate days until she's tried all the veggies and then we go to the fruits. We can mix it in her rice cereal or give it to her plain which ever she prefers! She's not a picky eater!!!! (LOL)!! =)

*Feed her her rice cereal in the morning with her bottle afterwards. We have to hide her bottle when she's eating her cereal because then if she sees it she won't eat her cereal any more!! Smart girl! Then veggies at night!

*Hannah's 6mth apt is Dec. 9th @ 2:20pm. She gets two or three shots (poor baby) and we'll talk about changing her formula.

~Hannah rolled over from tummy to back on Sat. night!! She was doing tummy time and and was leaning over on her right side more and just turned over! She surprised all 3 of us!!

After we went to the dr it was such a pretty day up here we decided to go to the park and play! There was a lot of older kids there playing and she loves to watch them play in the creek! One day before we know it she'll be playing in the creek and getting her clothes all wet too!!! =)

Hannah Grace is doing GREAT on her rice cereal!!! Tonight she actually helped me hold the spoon up to her mouth! Next week we get to try some vegetables for the first time! We got all five of the first veggies foods! We got carrots, green beans, sweet poatoes, squash, and peas! She's enjoying her rice cereal so I know she will love her veggies too! She's not a picky eater!! I'm just trying to decide which one to start with first!

Hannah is teething now. We're just taking one day at a time! Some days are worse than others which calls for Tylenol. I try everything first before I give her some Tylenol. Sometimes her bottle won't work, passy, lovie, blanket, or even me. That's when I give her .4 Tylenol. I keep cold teething rings and passies in the fridge at all times!! Every morning I wash her face and her hands when she wakes up. She takes the wash cloth out of my hands and sucks on the cool wash cloth!! Haha! Lately, I'll wash my hands and put my pointer finger in her mouth and let her suck on my finger and then I'll rub on her gums. If anybody has any advice for teething please leave me a comment! I would love to hear how you got through teething!!!

Today I called the nurse to ask her when do babies start to eat baby food. We got to talking and she was asking me alot of questions! We decided to start Hannah on rice ceral for babies today!!! So after I got the dr's ok Hannah and I went to Target to get her some bowls and baby spoons!!! Hannah picked out all the pretty colors!!! Hannah's nurse told me to use the ceral every evening for her dinner! I use 1-2 tablespoons of ceral and I can either mix it with her formula or water. I decided to mix it with formula so it would still taste the same as her bottles. So I will continue doing this for the next couple of weeks. Then I'll get to add in some veggies!!! They want us to use the veggies first because the fruit has sugar in it and they want babies to like veggies!! She said to either start with carrots or green beans!!!! Our baby girl is growing up so fast right before our eyes. Here are some pictures from tonight's dinner!!!!

Hannah Grace "LOVES" to be outside!!! We're trying to go outside as much as we can before it gets to cold. Today I decided to take her little chair outside with us so that she can sit up like a big girl!!! At first she was kind of pouting but then she but on a BIG smile for mommy!!! I LOVE staying home with her and being able to capture these priceless moments!!!
